Field Experience – Week #3

March 13, 2013

If there is one thing that I have learned throughout my experience as a physical and health education teacher, it is definitely the importance of making changes and adapting on the fly.

Lesson planning is crucial to success; however, it is being able to take a step back and see what is working and what may not be working as well.  A lesson plan is just that – a plan.  As a professional teacher, you have every right to deviate from it if you think your lesson can be improved.

After all, what works well for one class will not necessarily work just as well for the others!

Just in case anyone is curious as to what the children call me…

Mr. S.

(Rumors have it that my last name may either be Superman or Spiderman)
