“Every May, APEQ hosts a sporting social for PE teachers to come together and show off their sporting prowess. Sports from past events have included volleyball and badminton. The sporting social will be held sometime during the last two weeks of May (date TBA), but we have already started planning for this event and we would like your input on what sports you would like to play this year.
“Please help us make this a successful event by answering two quick survey questions. More information about this event will follow in the coming weeks.”

Student Leadership Conference
“How would you like the opportunity to interact with like-minded students from across Canada who are involved in the physical education, health, sports and related fields? Build your curriculum vitae, broaden your leadership skills and network with the field’s most influential educators by attending the Physical and Health Education Canada 2014 Student Leadership Conference.”
This year’s conference takes place September 17-21, 2014 at beautiful Cedar Ridge Camp, in Bancroft, Ontario.

Leadership Advisory Committee
“PHE Canada is currently seeking representatives for a newly formed Leadership Advisory Committee. This committee will help PHE Canada build stronger relationships and awareness of our organization with post-secondary students and institutions. Supporting current leaders and developing next-generation leaders in physical and health education across Canada is the primary focus of this advisor committee (AC). Key responsibilities of this committee will be the planning of the annual Student Leadership Conference, developing a robust Student Ambassador program, and identifying new opportunities to promote leadership in physical and health education.”
